  • Personal Settings

    How can I retrieve my Password?
    On the sign in page, click on the link that states “Forgot Password”.  Your password will then be reset and an email with your new information will automatically be sent to email address registered with the website.

    How can I change my Password?
    On your Account page, you will see a section where it allows you to change your password.

     

    Profiles and Profile Settings

    Can I create a Free Profile?
    Yes. You can create a free profile and search members on the site.  Each Member’s profile will be reviewed by Administration and will be pending approval until its content is approved. Any time a member edits his or her profile, the changes will be have to be approved by Administration.  We will try our best to approve all new profiles and profile changes within 24 hours of submission.

    How Do I create a Profile?
    You can create a free profile through the Klickd LogIn link on the home page.  You must fill out the requested information and provide a valid email address which will be used for all correspondence between you and the site’s administration.  Once your profile is complete, you will appear in search results and you will also be able to search other singles’ profiles on the site. 

     
    How do I edit my Profile?
    You can edit your profile by clicking on “My Profile”, “edit”.  Your Interest Groups can also be edited from this page.  When you are finished editing, please click “Save” on the bottom of the page.  Please note that each time your profile is edited, it will be sent to the site’s Quality Control team to ensure it follows our guidelines for posting.  Profiles may take up to 24 hours to be reapproved.  You may still use/search the site as usual, however, your profile will only be viewable to the public in a limited capacity until reapproved by our team.

    What Are The Profile Guidelines?
    Our Quality Control team reviews profiles for content to assure that members are following the guidelines and standards set forth below.  The violation of these guidelines may result in the termination of your membership:

                ·   abusive language of any kind, including vulgarity, racism, illegal activity, etc. is prohibited
         ·   no direct contact information may be listed, including email addresses, URLs, instant messenger IDs,
             text messenger IDs, phone numbers, full names, addresses, etc.
         ·   unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material is prohibited
         ·   business or political advertisements or solicitations are prohibited
         ·   material that exploits or solicits personal information from individuals under the age of 18 is prohibited
         ·   any solicitation for sex or descriptions of sexual activity, anatomy, etc. is prohibited
         ·   Solicitation of multiple or additional partners is prohibited
         ·   Content from incarcerated individuals or individuals under the age of 18 is not accepted

    How can I delete my Profile?
    You can delete your profile by visiting your “Account” page and clicking on “Delete Profile”. Once your profile is deleted, it cannot be reinstated nor can you use the same email address to create a new profile on Klickd.com.  Only one profile may be created per email address. 

    Can I hide my profile / make it invisible?
    No, you cannot hide your profile or make it invisible.  You can only change your Online status to Offline.  Members will continue to see your profile but they will not be able to initiate a chat with you.

    How do I go Offline?
    Each time you log in to the site, your profile will be in Online status.  To change your Online status to Offline, visit your Home Page and change your Online/Offline Status, a link you will find in the lower right hand side of your screen.  You may also change your Online status to Offline by visiting the “Account” page and marking your profile as offline under Privacy Settings.  The only feature affected when you are in Offline status is that a member will not be able to initiate the chat feature with you.  However, you will still be able to initiate the Chat with other members who are in Online status.  Your profile will be searchable and show up in search results and Interest Groups as usual.

     

    Events and Classes

    How do I RSVP to an Event or Class?

    You may RSVP to a free Event or Class by clicking on the Event, and choosing Going, Maybe Going or Not Going.  As long as the Event or Class is free of charge, you may change your RSVP.  However, if the Event or Class requires a fee to attend, you will be asked to pay the fee using PayPal at the time of RSVP.  Once you have paid for an Event or Class, you cannot change your RSVP and the fee is NONREFUNDABLE

    Can I post an Event or Group Date as a Member?

    Yes. You can post a free Event or Group Date idea to the Calendar of your chosen interest group if you would like to host it. You will be able to see which members RSVP and you will be able to interact with them using the Posting Wall for the Event for updates and other related information.

     

    Businesses

    What events can I post as a business?
    As a business registered on Klickd.com, you may post events or classes relating to your business.  The events may be free of charge to members or for a fee.  For example, if you are a sports bar looking for more patrons, consider posting a free sports viewing event for singles to give your restaurant exposure and to increase sales.  On the other hand, if you are a dance school, consider posting a paid dance class for singles (post multiple classes for different age groups).  When posting, you will be given the option to state the maximum number of people, the cost (if any), you can upload a picture relating to the event, and you can add a detailed desciption of other important information such as the age group for the event.


    How will I get paid if I post an Event for a fee?

    You will be asked to provide your PayPal business account information and members will pay the fee through the PayPal payment portal. 


    What happens if I need to cancel an Event I posted?

    If no one has rsvp'd, then you may cancel the event.  Please be sure of your posting before creating the event because it cannot be canceled once members have rsvp'd or paid.  Regarding members, they may change their rsvp if your event is free of charge. However, if members rsvp and make a payment for your fee, the fee non-refundable and they may not change their rsvp to Not Going (they still may not show up to the Event if they cannot attend for some last minute reason but you will keep the fee.).

    What does it cost to post an Event or Class on Klickd.com?
    It is free fror a business to post an event or class on the site.

    How do I know in which Interest Group(s) to post my Event?
    You can post in as many interest groups as you like, keeping in mind that you may want to hold events or classes on different days if you are catering to different age groups.  Browse through the interest groups and categories to find an audience that relates most to your business.

    How do I delete my business profile?
    It is easy to delete your profile.  Simply go to the Account tab once you are logged in and click on Delete Profile.



    Email

    Why am I not receiving email from your site?
    Check your Spam Folder or Junk Mail folder to see if messages from our site are going there instead.  Make sure you allow messages from Klickd.com to be delivered to your email account.  Another reason may be that you opted not to receive emails from Klickd.com.  To receive emails from Klickd.com, visit your “Account” page and make sure “Yes” is chosen next to the option for Email Notifications.

    Is there a way to stop receiving email notifications from Klickd.com?
    Yes, go to your Account page, and there you will see an option titled “Receive Site Emails”.  If you do not wish to receive email notifications from the site regarding Members trying to contact you and Events that are being posted, choose No from the drop down menu and click on the Set button to save your changes.  Klickd.com will still use your email to contact you regarding important account and billing information when necessary.

    Is there a way I can tell multiple friends at once about this site?
    Yes, we have incorporated a feature where you can invite friends from your email contact list.  On the bottom right of the home page you will see “Connect with more friends”.  This feature will allow you to invite friends from various email providers which will be listed on the screen.  

     

    Instant Messenger

    Why is the Instant Messenger feature not working for me?
    Be sure that you have Flash installed on your computer and Javascript enabled on your browser.  Also, your pop-up blocker must be disabled.  Adjust your pop-up blocked to allow pop-ups from Klickd.com.

    Why is another member having trouble Instant Messaging me?
    Your profile must be set to Online status for another member to initiate the chat feature with you. When you are in Online status, an online notification button will appear next to your profile so that others know you are online.  The “Chat Now” button on your profile will also be clickable so that other members can initiate the chat feature with you.  Each time you log in, you are automatically in Online status unless you manually change your Online status to Offline on your Home Page.

    How do I start a chat session?
    To initiate chat, click on the “Chat Now” button on the member’s profile.  If a Member is showing as “Offline” you cannot initiate a chat with them, they must be Online to do so.
     


    Privacy

    What personal information does a member see when I send him/her a message?
    There is no personal information that is shared when you send a message or initiate a chat session.  Other members will only see your Username or profile picture.

    How can I block a member from contacting me or seeing my profile?
    To block a Member, open the Member’s profile and click on the “Block User” button under their profile picture.  A blocked member will not be able to view your profile or use in-site messaging tools to contact you.  You will not show up in the search results of a member you have blocked.

    How can I unblock a member?
    To unblock a Member you previously blocked, open the Member’s profile and click on the “Unblock User” button under their profile picture.  The Member will then be able to view your profile once again and initiate contact with you.

     


    Communicating with Members

    How can I contact another member?
    In order to establish contact with a member, you may send members messages or initiate chat sessions with members who are online at the same time as you.

    How can I search for another member by Username?
    You can search for a member by full or partial user name using the Search field found near the top of your Home page when logged in.  You can also search by Username by using the Advanced Search section on your Home page.


    Do I get notified when I receive a new message?
    Each time you receive a new message on Klickd.com, a notification will be sent to the email you used to register on the site.  If you are signed in to Klickd.com, a number will appear next to your Mailbox icon showing how many new messages you have.

    How can I read my mail?
    To read your mail, go to your “Mailbox” and view your inbox to see your messages.  You will see which Member sent you the message, and the date and time it was sent.  


    How can I send mail to a member?
    To send mail you must have an active profile on the site.  You may send a message by clicking the “Send Message” button under a member’s profile picture.

     What is a wink?
    A wink is a way a member can show interest in another member’s profile without having to compose a message. 

    How can I send a wink?
    To send a Wink, click on the “Send Wink” button under a member’s profile picture. 

    Do I get notified when someone has winked at me?
    When a member winks at you, you will be notified by email.  You can also see who has winked at you by looking at the Notification section on your Home Page.

    How can I block a member from contacting me or seeing my profile?
    To block a Member, open the Member’s profile and click on the “Block User” button under their profile picture.  A blocked member will not be able to view your profile or use in-site messaging tools to contact you.  You will also not appear in the search results of a member you have blocked.

    How can I unblock a member?

    Hotlist

    What is the Hotlist?
    The Hotlist is a list of your favorite member profiles.

    How can I add a member to my Hotlist?
    Add a member to the Hotlist by opening his or her profile, and click the button “Add to Hotlist” under his or her profile picture.

    Where can I see the members I have Hotlisted?
    Click on “My Hotlist” which can be found on your home page.

    How can I delete a member from my Hotlist?
    Visit “My Hotlist” on your home page and click on the button “Remove from Hotlist” next to the member you would like to remove.


    How many members can I have in my Hotlist?
    You can have as many members as you like saved in your Hotlist.


    Can I see when someone has added me to their Hotlist?
    When someone adds you to their Hotlist, you will be sent a message stating “You’ve been Hotlisted”.   They will also be added to the “You’ve Been Hotlisted” list which can be found on your Home Page.

     


    Photos

    Is a photo required in order to have a profile on the site?
    No, but other singles usually give more attention to profiles with photos.


    What are the guidelines of your site for posting a photo?

    Photos will only appear on the site after they have been approved by one of our representatives.  We reserve the right to reject any photo at our discretion that does not conform to our photo guidelines which are stated here:

    · image files must be received in an approved format
    ·
    the image type must be jpeg
    · image size should be no more than 256 x 256 pixels
    · there may be no writing on any of the photos
    · nude, obscene, sexual or otherwise offensive photos will not be posted
    · image file can be no larger than 50MB

    · copyrighted material cannot be posted nor photos containing the name of a website, company or other business


    How do I add a photo?
    To upload a photo click on “My Profile”, “edit”, and click on the link “Add Photo” that appears next to the words “More Photos”.  Use the “choose file” button to locate the file on your computer.  If you are uploading more than one photo, click on “Add another file”.  When you finished choosing your picture files, click on “UPLOAD”.  The time it takes you to upload your photo will depend on its size. This will not be your profile photo.  To upload your profile photo, click on “Change Profile Picture"

    How do I upload/change my main profile photo? 
    Click on “My Profile”, “edit”, and click on the link Add Profile Picture (or Change Profile Picture) which appears on the left hand side of the screen, under your profile picture.  Click on the “choose file” button to locate the file on your computer and once chosen the photo will automatically upload.

    What is the maximum number of photos I can add to my profile?
    You can add a maximum of 10 photos.

    Searches

    How do I perform an Advanced Search?
    On your home page you will see a section where you can perform an Advanced Search.  Click on the arrow next to the detailed search options to narrow your options.  You may adjust as few or as many search options as you like.  You may also find a specific member by clicking on the Username option and typing the member’s username into the field.

    How do I search for a specific Interest Group?
    On your home page, you will see a field labeled “Search Interests”.  Here you can type in the Interest you are looking for.  The Interest or a similar Interest will be suggested.  If the search yields no results, this means that the specific interest group you are trying to locate has not yet been created on the site.  You can be the first to create that Interest Group by adding it on your Edit Profile page.
